What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?
Before joining McChrystal Group, I spent more than a decade in both Big Four and boutique consulting, partnering with government and healthcare leaders during crises, recovery, and transformation efforts. My work focused primarily on disaster response and recovery, supporting communities from the earliest days of response through the design and execution of long-term recovery programs. I helped more than 15 state and local clients recover from some of the nation's most significant recent disasters and advised a governor's office on funding, risk, and vaccination strategy as part of a $2 billion COVID-19 recovery effort. Throughout my career, I built and led high-performing teams of more than 150 practitioners, aligning diverse stakeholders around a common purpose and helping clients deliver results when the stakes were highest.
Why did you join McChrystal Group?
What energizes me most is helping leaders create environments where people at all levels understand how their work contributes to something larger than themselves. I've seen firsthand how purpose-driven teams outperform, innovate, and persevere through the most complex of challenges. I joined McChrystal Group to help clients unlock the power of aligned teams and achieve those same extraordinary, long-lasting results.
WhY are you passionate about leaders and teams?
I'm passionate about leaders and teams because I've seen that exceptional results come from putting people in positions where they can maximize their strengths. The best leaders create the conditions for individuals and teams to thrive, and when they do, performance, innovation, and fulfillment tend to follow.
What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?
When I'm not working with clients, you'll usually find me exploring a new workout class, biking along the C&O Canal, or trying to improve my golf swing at a local driving range. I love to travel and make it a point to experience destinations like a local, often seeking out unique fitness classes and outdoor adventures wherever I go.
