Omar Abdalla is a Senior Associate and Project Manager on the Implementation team, where he collaborates with clients across the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and transportation sectors to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and cutting-edge digital transformations. With a keen eye for innovation and efficiency, Omar helps organizations optimize their operations and unlock new opportunities for success.
What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?
Before joining McChrystal Group, I studied International Development and Economics at American University. During college, I worked part-time as a data analyst at a leading DC real estate team, helping to inform their strategy through internal and market analysis. I also interned with a successful gubernatorial re-election campaign, a boutique M&A firm, and a government software startup.
Why did you join McChrystal Group?
I joined McChrystal Group because it gave me an opportunity to help solve big problems with intelligent people, principled and diverse teams, and organizations across different industries that drive progress around the world.
What are your favorite books (besides Team of Teams!)?
My favorite books outside of Team of Teams are American Icon by Bryce Hoffman, Open by Andre Agassi, and A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles.
