WHAT did you do before joining mcchrystal group?

Prior to joining McChrystal Group, I worked as a Program Manager for a National Science Foundation research grant at Northeastern University. During this position, I oversaw nine research projects within five different laboratories. While in college, I worked full-time as a Highway Engineer on large public roadway design projects for two years and as a Traffic Engineer on small private land development projects for one year in the Boston area. Throughout college, I researched social and economic resilience in federally designated opportunity zones and served as a Presidential and Honors Ambassador.

Why did you join McChrystal Group?

I joined McChrystal Group because the work we do here perfectly blends the best aspects of all my previous roles. With experience across industries like research, civil engineering, and higher education, I’ve always thrived in problem-solving, communication, organization, and program management. At McChrystal Group, I combine all these passions and the skills I’ve honed into one dynamic, impactful role. It’s the perfect fit to make a real difference while doing what I love.

What has been your proudest moment at McChrystal Group?

My proudest moment at McChrystal Group was when we partnered with a state agency, and I got to design a dashboard concept for them. During this project, the client described a recruitment challenge they were facing. I created a dashboard concept to help them track and increase recruitment efforts throughout the agency. Hearing that this dashboard would help them solve a huge challenge by tracking and increasing recruitment while reducing their workload and time spent manually tracking these metrics was extremely rewarding.

What are your favorite books (besides Team of Teams!)?

Besides Team of Teams, I love to read historical fiction and memoirs. My favorite historical fiction books, which I have recently read, are The Rose Code by Kate Quinn, A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles, All the Glimmering Stars by Mark Sullivan, and Beneath a Scarlet Sky by Mark Sullivan. My favorite memoirs, which I have recently read, are Educated by Tara Westover and Knife: Meditations After an Attempted Murder by Salman Rushdie.
