Megan Groothuis is a Power Platform Consultant who helps clients implement and develop solutions utilizing SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other applications in the Power Platform suite. Utilizing these products allows clients to automate their daily tasks and utilize their time more effectively.
What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?
Prior to joining McChrystal Group, I worked as a technical rotational analyst with Xcel Energy. Here my role was to work with various teams across the organization on technical projects ranging from process automation, application development, dashboarding, and data analysis. In this role, I was able to develop a strong foundation in Power Platform and decided to solidify my career direction moving into this space.
Why did you join McChrystal Group?
McChrystal Group's development of the Enterprise Solutions group with a large focus on Power Platform developments encourages the growth of the Power Platform space across our client portfolio. Additionally, McChrystal Group's supportive and motivated culture shown through all of the interview conversations. The rhetoric used to describe teammates was overwhelmingly uplifting and inspiring and made me excited to join the team.
What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?
I have a bunch of hobbies; some of my favorites are snowboarding, charcuterie board making, crocheting, cooking, hiking, playing soccer, and watching movies.
Why are you passionate about leaders & teams?
A leader's qualities are reflected in the success or failure of their team. I am passionate about finding great leaders to follow because they can be extremely influential in helping shape your career growth. Finding an individual or a group of people that inspire you to achieve more is an extremely important part of professional development.
