What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?
Prior to McChrystal Group, I worked as a Client Success Manager and Managed Services Architect for a Microsoft Modern Work partner. During my time there I streamlined and operationalized the FastTrack program to accelerate client onboarding success, developed offerings for unified communication for Small and Midsized Businesses, and created a program to help clients achieve greater return on technology investment through digital transformation projects. Previously, I spent 20 years in an international non-profit organization working at every level of the organization from frontline language and culture transformation consultant in Mexico to Headquarters Operations as Director of IT and IS.
Why did you join McChrystal Group?
We live in a world where change dominates and defines our day-to-day experience. However, the justification, support, and training needed for people to understand, embrace and make use of new products and processes lags behind. Successful technology solutions must include the communication of the purpose and value, as well as tools to empower people to use them to achieve their goals.
What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?
Sports and I don't get along :)
I love to help and serve and I find ways to volunteer and contribute locally and through online communities.
Why are you passionate about leaders & teams?
Teams follow their leaders. If leaders talk about change and then allow factions and siloes to claim exceptions for their group, it puts everyone at risk. Helping leaders embrace their role as faithful stewards of a clear and consistent message creates an environment that fosters compatible team development, interactions, collaboration, and ultimately greater ability to set and achieve common goals.

The Digital Tools Needed for a Hybrid Communications Forum
The effective remote work of distributed teams — now more than ever — relies on the technology that makes it possible. There are three crucial elements to think through when constructing a communications forum, and while content and behavior are often focused on as two of the core components, we see teams all too frequently overlooking the technology aspect.
