Rupert Jones
Meet Rupert
Rupert Jones draws on over 30-years’ military experience leading and empowering diverse teams, large and small, in the most complex and uncertain environments. He brings extensive senior operational experience, including serving as the deputy commander of the US-led coalition that defeated ISIS and commanding a multinational force of 5,500 troops in Afghanistan.
He also held a number of senior executive appointments within UK Defense: playing a leading role in the Coalition Government’s Defense Reform Review of the organization’s operating model; serving as the Army’s de facto Chief Operating Officer; sitting as a member of the Army’s Executive Board; and working as their Director of Communications.
Recently retired as a major general, he is a trusted leadership mentor and offers hard-won perspectives on transformation, strategy, organization, culture and decision making under pressure. Since leaving the Army he has drawn on his experiences and skills as an advisor, coach and consultant.
