Anna Brinkman

Meet Anna

Dr. Anna Brinkman is a Senior Advisor for McChrystal Group, where she has delivered leadership development programmes for a number of clients, including a world-leading pharmaceutical company, a global software company and a maritime consultancy group.

Anna is also a lecturer/assistant professor at King's College London in the Defence Studies Department at the UK Joint Services Command and Staff College. She has ten years of experience researching, publishing, and teaching on strategic thinking, leadership and command. She is the co-director of the Corbett Centre for Maritime Policy Studies. Anna has a successful history of designing and delivering programmes in leadership and command for the UK defence sector.

Anna studied at Columbia University as an undergraduate and as a graduate at King's College London. After being awarded her doctorate, she conducted post-doctoral research at the University of Warwick.

In 2024, Anna published her first book, The Court of Prize Appeal as an Agent of British Wartime Foreign Policy: The Maintenance of Dutch and Spanish Neutrality During the Seven Years War.
