Meet Danielle
Danielle Tenconi serves as the Chief Marketing Officer, leading the development, implementation, and execution of McChrystal Group's strategic marketing, communications materials, and campaigns.
What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?
I have spent my entire career in marketing and communications, most recently leading external engagement at a military and first responder-focused nonprofit. Prior to nonprofit leadership, I developed my consultancy capabilities at Accenture Interactive (formerly Brand Learning), working across 50 countries, in the UK, US, and Singapore Accenture businesses, specializing in commercial capability building. I spent the first 10 years of my career leading global brands at both Unilever and Merck and began my career as a graduate trainee at Masterfoods.
Why did you join McChrystal Group?
I was looking for an organization where I could be challenged, add value every day, and work within a high-performing team. The culture at McChrystal Group is unique, and I feel incredibly fortunate to work with such brilliant people! As a working military spouse, it was also important that I work in an organization that is flexible and understands the obstacles of military family life.
What has been your proudest moment at McChrystal Group?
Attending the All-Hands meeting within my first month of joining the organization was an incredible way to experience the McChrystal Group culture first-hand and meet the team face-to-face!
What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?
I love to run, but have found a recent passion for taekwondo with my two sons! It forces me to really concentrate, challenges my strength and fitness, while also allowing me to connect with my boys in a really fun way.
