Meet Peden
Peden Gray is Head of Talent Acquisition at McChrystal Group. Her work spans across HR, serving as a resource primarily focused on building our team and investing in our people through highly specialized talent acquisition and development.
What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?
I pursued human capital as the focus of my career early and on purpose, driven by the belief that using intention to cultivate a community of people was the determining factor in the success of a business. That truth has been proven across experiences working deeply in the talent acquisition and development space with more than thirty organizations, from start-up to Fortune 100, and upwards of a thousand professionals. I aim to understand the individual, their goals, the things that set them apart, and then serve as a resource and an advocate as they navigate the development of their own careers and endeavor to advance against their objectives.
Why did you join McChrystal Group?
I joined McChrystal Group for the opportunity to work closely with a team built on trust and empowered delivery. Each person has a profound influence here and not only does that directly translate to the quality of our work with clients, it also creates an opportunity for each of us to be our best selves. I get the chance to add to that team and then smooth the path for them in pursuit of what lights them up.
What has been your proudest moment at McChrystal Group?
I am deeply proud every day to be able to work within this organization. From interviews with passionate and uniquely gifted prospects to 1:1s with existing team members to advance strategic people initiatives, I am inspired and fulfilled by supporting this community.
What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?
I'm a life-long equestrian and avid reader. A few other things I enjoy: eclectic coffee shops, punchy subject lines, and hunting down the best dessert spots wherever I may be visiting.
