Meet Ted
Ted Delicath is a Principal on our Implementation team, where he serves as a trusted partnership manager for clients navigating large-scale transformations. Dedicated to solving our clients' most critical challenges, Ted has partnered with tech, biomanufacturing, and energy companies to develop and execute new strategies, tackle complex problems, and revitalize organizational cultures. One of his longest-running engagements involved working with a Midwest state during the COVID-19 pandemic, where his team spent twelve months on the ground. Ted played a key role in shaping and executing the state’s vaccination rollout and supporting systems, ensuring a swift and effective response during a pivotal time.
What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?
Before joining McChrystal Group, I received my M.A. in International Security and Conflict from Dublin City University as a George S. Mitchell Scholar. Prior to that, I spent four years in the Army as a Ranger-qualified Infantry officer. I’m humbled to be an AVG Venture Capital Fellow, an Urban Leader Fellow, and a CORO Public Affairs Fellow.

Why are you passionate about leaders & teams?
We spend anywhere between 1/4 to 1/3 of our professional life with our work colleagues. The difference between a group and a team determines the quality of that time. Given that time and attention are our most precious finite resources, great leaders and committed teammates are among the most important roles we can fulfill for others we care and serve.
